MOUNT VERNON GARDENS HISTORICAL
This half-scale replication of George Washington's estate in Virginia was developed in the late 1920s and early 1930s. With its extensive flower gardens and panoramic views, the park is a primary attraction in Omaha, serving as a site for social gatherings, weddings and sightseeing. The Workshop's plan for the park provided a new vision for the Garden's development while restoring its historic integrity.
