LEVI CARTER PARK
Levi Carter is one of Omaha's flagship regional parks and acts as Omaha's front door for visitors arriving at Eppley Airfield. The park has served a broad array of recreational uses since its establishment in 1908.
BMW developed a new park master plan with public meetings and stakeholder interviews to help define public desires and potential improvements. The master plan envisions restoring the park's historic WPA-era pavilions and bathhouses, adds a disc-golf course and other sports fields, improves roads, completes a 6.5 mile trail loop around the lake, and expands the number of picnicking locations.
